The 2011 America Cup International Open takes place from November 7 to 12 at the Sports Center of Sertaozinho Ferreira dos Reis (state of São Paulo) with five national teams: Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Catalonia and South Africa.
The Sports Center Pedro Ferreira dos Reis or Gym Do Docao was built in 1977 and opened in 1982. This facility held several world competitions.

It was opened in May 17, 2009 and has capacity for 2,000 seats. It is a multifuncional space that includes a play area over 1,000 m2 with a main court and two courts in the sides, and retractable stands.
It is structurated on two floors: the ground floor includes the reception, the administration, locker rooms, the court and health facilities. On the first floor, there's a lobby, the stands and a bar.

The city of Vic is in the heart of Catalonia, about 69 km north of Barcelona, 60 km west of Girona and 164 km east of Lleida.
Main roads to Vic are C-17 (Barcelona-Puigcerdà), Eix Transversal C-25 (Girona-Lleida) and Eix Vic-Olot C-37. There's also a rail Barcelona-VIC-Ripoll-Puigcerdà.
Vic is a city of almost 40,000 inhabitants located in a plain of inland Catalonia, about 485 meters above sea level, midway between Barcelona and the Pyrenees. The municipality covers an area of 30'92 km2 and is the capital of the county of Osona.
Historically the city has been important for the organization of fairs and markets that have attracted many visitors, as Mercat del Ram, el Mercat de Música Viva, Vicantic, the Medieval Market or the Mostra Gastronòmica, in addition to the weekly markets in the Plaça Major. Its economy is diversified in many sectors including industries, cattle raising, agriculture and the processing of raw materials. Vic also hosts a University Campus.
First references about Vic are on the fourth century BC, when it was called Ausa. It was later occupied by Romans, remaining the Roman Temple as a legacy. In 826 the city was destroyed and after the introduction of Osona County by Wilfred the Hairy in 878 one of the districts was rebuilt with the name of Vicus Ausonae. During the medieval period the city grew around the old Romanesque cathedral that had been consecrated by bishop Oliva. After the War of Succession Vic suffered a decline, but over the years managed to recover, becoming the city that is today.
Its urban scheme is the result of concentric growth around the old town square. The city has a very interesting medieval part, and a remarkable number of gothic, baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. The cathedral and the Roman temple are two of the most famous buildings of Vic.
In the 1992 Olympic Games, Vic hosted the roller hockey competition. The most important sports club in the city is Club Patí Vic, twice runner-up of the European Champions League (2009 and 2010) and winner of the 2001 CERS Cup.
